Quidditch Practice

Grace has a great imagination. One day last week she asked me to help her make a broomstick.

After her broom was completed, she made a quaffle, some bludgers and a golden snitch. She was getting so excited that Anne and James wanted to join in the fun.

Here are a couple of shots from their quidditch game. Grace really wanted to make the bludgers and the golden snitch fly. I had a harder time making that happen. You might notice the winged snitch is in her mouth.

Big fish.

Grandma and Grandpa brought Uncle David for a visit during his sprink break. We had a great time. One of the days we went fishing. Here is Grandpa's big fish, a catfish.

Here is my big fish, I think it's a walleye.

Here is David's big fish, a 23 inch 6 lb catfish. He caught it on James' toddler spider man fishing pole that was about 2 feet long. Grandpa caught the 3 lb drum also pictured.

It's nice having a new little one in the house, even if it is a little tiring.

Everybody loves holding little brother.

It's been great having dad home for the week too.

New Baby

We had a baby last night (3/31/2012) a little before 11:00. He weighed 4100 grams and measured 52 cm.

Here he is showing off his muscles. We think we'll call him John David, but we'll make it final after the kids get to meet him.

Mom and Baby are both doing well.
