Terrific and TWO!!!!

Happy Birthday Miss Anne!!
Grace and Anne sit for a picture
We went to the train depot and walked around the gardens.
Dad met us at the depot and took the girls for a closer look at the fish.
What's the best part about birthday parties? THE CANDLES OF COURSE!!!
Everyone gets to blow out the candles at our house....
Anne blew hers out over and over and over again! This little lady knows what she wants in life....chocolate cake, purple frosting, and pink candles.
Uncle Billy came dressed for the occassion.
We were so glad Uncle Bill and Aunt Brittanie came to visit one last time.
(ENJOY THE GRILL!)

Lego Ladies

We are running out of things to do our final week in town. Grace and Anne are as imaginative as ever these days and are adapting to the simplified life quite well. They found the construction paper and some markers and wanted to trace their bodies again. I told them the paper was too small so Grace solved the problem by piecing things together. Here are the final results.
Lego Grace and Lego Anne will decorate our walls until moving day....
we love children's art!

Dinner Party

The newlyweds, Bill and Brittanie came over for dinner. It was a quick visit, but we were glad to see them. The girls especially love Aunt Brittanie, and they are hoping to see Uncle Bill's ambulance soon...maybe even go for a ride in it!

Baby Bellies

Grace came running into our room the other day laughing hysterically. Once she stopped giggling she shouted, "Look! I have a baby belly too!"
So here we are with our baby bellies.
(I made the shirt I'm wearing in this picture. Waiting to move is a little boring so I've crafted a few more projects to do so I don't pack too much too soon.)

Our Last Visit

Anne (1), Jackson (1), and Grace (3)
We love this little guy and we are going to miss him.
Good luck Tim and Amber on your new job and your new adventures in WA.
We love you!

Finally Finished

Three and a half years ago I started a project.
At the time I looked like this....on the verge of delivering Grace.

I now look like this and have two children. But I finally finished my project!

Meet Mahn-Hee our knitted monkey.

We love him dearly.

I should note that Edwin started knitting a monkey at the same time I did. His monkey was finished right away and is stored in a box right now. We will post pictures of the happy monkey reunion later.

***Thank you Jennifer S. for inspiring me to learn to knit and for getting me started on an adventurous project. Thanks to my MIL, Linda, for instructing me along the way and encouraging me to finish it. I couldn't have finished without Edwin's teasing, laughing, and supportive love...."finish before we move again or throw it out" philosophy helped too.
