Trains and landscaping

 James loves trains and anything to do with trains

 Here is a before and after of some lanscaping in the front yard. I have since added wood mulch all over the dirt patches. These plants are called Hostas ("Hosta is a genus of about 23–45 species of lily-like plants in the family Asparagaceae, subfamily Agavoideae, native to northeast Asia.")

Getting big and loving Mom.

 Here are a couple of pictures of John. He sure is getting big fast.

 Happy Mother's Day to Mom. The kids put a lot of different sprinkles on her cake. James ate most of the sprinkles he was supposed to put on the cake.

Here is our big boy who has been learning to go potty in the toilet. He is enjoying his lollipop for a reward after making a plop in the toilet.

Wizards, Fish and Butterflies

 Dad's Introduction to Witchcraft and Wizardry from Professor Dumbledore and Professor McGonagall, complete with potion making kit. Thanks for a great birthday present.

 One day Anne and James wanted to go fishing. We went and bought some minnows and found a good spot. After school we picked up Grace and went fishing. I was surprised the kids wanted to keep fishing for 2 hours. They each caught at least 1 fish before we headed home to show mom and John.

There have been a lot of butterflies the last couple of weeks. Anne is getting quite proficient at catching them. I think she's bagged 20 to 30 by now. The girls put them in a quart jar with some leaves and keep them in their bedroom overnight. Then they release them the next day.
